It’s a kind of plate like made of Muscovite Paper
or Phlogophite Paper micas with proper adhesive (silicon/epoxy)
after pressed and baked. It has good mechanical strength and
property of heat resistance. It can be used within 400°C- 700°C for
a long time.
Types of mica plates and its uses:
(a)
Silicon bonded muscovite mica plates-rigid
Uses: parts for hair dryers, electric Iron, electric store,
industrial furnace, coffee machines, electric rice cooker etc.
(b)
Silicon bonded muscovite mica plates-flexible
Uses: Insulation parts which has to be rolled such as hair dryers,
motor, electric heating bar etc.
(c)
Epoxy mica plate:
Uses: This kind of mica plates are mainly used for commutator.
(d)
Phlogophite mica plates:
Uses: This kind of mica plates are used when temperatures are
higher. Such as metallurgy industry equi8pment, arc furnace etc.
Shape & Sizes:
Mica plates are available in two sizes 1000 mm x 600 mm and 1000 mm
x 1200 mm.
We also supply mica plates sizes as per buyers’ requirements.
Packing: We export mica plates after covering of mica plates in
Polythene and Carton properly packed in wooden cases for better
handling. All are export standard.
